Walking
Olton Mere is a 32 acre water surrounded by 5 acres of beautiful woodland and many of our members are not sailors. Access members subscribe to make the most of the beautiful scenery at the Mere. The path around the mere takes between 20 and 40 minutes to walk and many members use the club for jogging and dog walking. At the south end of the mere, there are many species of birds, including herons, and sometimes even kingfishers.
